Online Parenting Classes
The online educational classes are for court-involved parents in the child welfare system, or other parents at risk of their children being placed in foster care or with a relative caregiver. The class will provide the basic parenting skills with the primary goal to minimize the risk of child maltreatment while optimizing child developmental outcomes.
DISCLAIMER: Online parent education classes are widely recognized within the state of Wyoming by most courts; however, if you are court ordered to take a co-parenting class, it is always best to verify approval of our classes with your county court of record to verify their acceptance of an online parenting class. Each state, county and individual judge may dictate different requirements.

The Wyoming Department of Family Services’ work centers around three values:
- Safe at home;
- Giving families opportunities for success; and
- Supporting the people who support the families.
The Department achieves this vision by giving families opportunities for success throughout their interactions with the Department. Families come in contact with the Department for many reasons, including but not limited to, child abuse and neglect services, adult protection services, juvenile justice services, assistance with food or child care, and child care licensing. Many of the Department’s goals reflect the Department’s desire to improve upon the practice and service delivery that enhance families’ abilities to be successful and remain safe at home. More information can be found in the Department’s SFY 2024-2026 Three-Year Strategic Plan.
